Course description:
This course is an introduction to the world of computing and internet basics. It covers different applications and programs used to improve various working skills, and personal competences such as: communication & organizing.
Course objectives:
1- To give a well based notion on Microsoft software’s and applications, such as Word, Excel and Power Point;
2- To give basic introduction to internet use to meet daily needs: email, search engine, and social networking.
Course Method:
This is a lecture and application course. The classroom is equipped with computers, which the trainees are entitled to use during the class to practice learned skills. Trainees are encouraged to bring their laptops with them. Trainees can come during YCC official opening hours to practice their lessons, free of charge. (For more information refer to management)
Attendance and Homework:
The trainee’s attendance in class and homework are imperative. This will contribute to his/her own learning. His/her knowledge will be always enriched and extended by the interaction with other class members and with the instructor.

Exams and Certificates
A certificate of completion will be issued upon successful completion of the final exam scheduled at the end of the session. Trainees are requested to undertake this exam. Certificates will not be issued unless exam results are successful.
